Figuero – Figuero Viñas Viejas – DO Ribera del Duero
100% tempranillo
The 2018 campaign was rated by the Regulatory Council as: Very good.
Intense cherry red colour. Elegant and highly complex aromas, with notes of fruit, blackberry, raspberry and black currant standing out over spicy nuances (nutmeg, black pepper). Subtle touches of fine leather and minerals such as graphite or slate. Dense palate with great structure and balance.
Vintage 2018: The climatology of the 2018 vintage was characterized by a good rainfall regime at the end of winter and during spring. The summer was dry, which allowed an excellent health in the grape.
The harvest has returned to its normal dates between October 1 and 12. It is a very fresh vintage, very fruity with good acidity and balanced tannins.
