It is a lively and expressive wine, with fresh aromas of red bramble, currant and myrtle fruit, with elegant tertiaries of its passage through barrels, with fine roasts, coffee, medium lactones and licorice stick.

The vineyard
On the sandy soils with limestone highlights of FINCA DE LA CALERA, located in the extreme west of the D.O. Toro, the vineyards with which this wine is made are cultivated. Its character is understood by observing the limiting conditions of this exclusive soil for an austere vineyard in an almost arid climate.

The wine
Good layer of purple tones with very dark cardinal, clean and bright. It is a lively and expressive wine, with fresh aromas of red berries of blackberry, currant and myrtle, with elegant tertiary aromas from its aging in the barrel, with fine roasted notes, coffee, medium lactones and stick liquorice. Vivid tannin skeleton, in harmony with a fresh acidity that enhances the aromas of red fruit, fine and seductive touches of toasted bread and roasted coffee, with a long, fresh and very pleasant finish.
